Well some people in my class decided we'd need a year book. And it's not a personal book it's just everybody writes something and some people put it all together. So right now I've got a huge problem (besides that those people are already angry that I and a lot of others didn't do it in time while they "notified us months ago"). Like I can list all the parties and trips I had fun on but well that's actually kind of boring. And making it personal to around 20-25 people that are real friends doesn't work out really well either. The rest of the class ranges from people I like to get around with at school but not real friends to people to people I know vaguely. And I'm not going to pretend that I wouldn't have fun if I were in another class or something for the majority of the class. I just appreciate my friends and for the rest I couldn't care much more or less than average.

Anybody have any ideas?

Just write down some of your fondest memories from school. Including the parties and trips wouldn't be as boring as you think and you can relate the good times you had (and why they were so good) without having to mention specific individuals. That way, none of your friends feel "shafted" that they weren't mentioned.

Some of my college buddies STILL talk about a particular party (and especially the trip back home) we had our last year in school. We've laughed about it for years, and recounted the story dozens of times - but it still usually gets brought up again whenever we all get together.

And putting a book together of personal memories like this is one of the BEST ways to remember your school years and the fun you had. Others will list events that you may have even forgotten about, but will remember how much fun you had there too.

Hope that helps a bit.

Is it supposed to be a year book celebrating the school year, including all the students in the class/school, or just a book for you and your friends? If it's for the whole class/school, like you would be wanting them to buy copies, then you need to include everyone, whether you like them as friends or not. I would advise creating some sort of committee who all work on the yearbook that includes people from all the different groups and cliques in your class so that your book is representative of everyone.

We had a yearbook every year at my high school, and it basically had stories and pictures celebrating every school event, like sports days, maths week, orientation day, prefect elections, musical events, school plays and so on. It was a great way to remember events you had fun at or read about events you weren't involved in. Then students could add personal submissions as well. I still have all my yearbooks and I'm sure in years to come when I've forgotton most of the people and stuff I did, they'll be a great reminiscence for me.

So, I think you could make a great book if you had stories describing all the events that happened in your school year, and different people's perspectives. If no official photos were taken, maybe ask students if they took photos and could lend them to you. If you want to include out of school activities like parties, make sure you have parties from all groups even ones you didn't attend. Maybe have some fun stuff like having a 'student most likely to...' section, or polls or something. And have an individual photo of everyone in the class so they can add a personal message.

Well it's more supposed to be a personal piece. But I thought who cares about my party. And that was my main reason I wasn't very happy with it cause it's kind of hard to find any activities that we did with most or all of the class.

It's cause most if not all of us will leave this school after this year. Luckily I'm nott one of the leading people but there's not really a structure in it. It was just like write something. But thanks for the tips! I'll take some in consideration while writing it
