I installed a new theme and I seem to have a problem. IW says that I am not logged it but still I can post. I mean I clicked the login option (under Post new topic) and I got the message "Thanks for logging in) but I have no Log out option, also I don't have the IW Quick Reply box visible. What could cause this problem? I disabled Java options in Firefox if this has anything to do with it.

Edit: I got it. I had to enable Java again.

I had the same problem the first time I installed Firefox, but then it was the cookie settings.

Yeah sounds like a cookie problem. Although when you log in, your credentials are usually stored in session variables, cookies remember your long-term login status. Make sure cookies are enabled (at least for the ironworks server, if not globally).

There's also an option in IQ to clear your cookies... unfortunately, I don't see it right handy on this page, but I know it's there. Try cleaning them out before logging in again.

It isn't cookies. You were almost right when you sadi you had to enable Java again - you actually had to reenable javascript (The two are not related). For some strange reason, quick reply and the "logged in" status use javascript to read the cookies (which the script generating the fourm should be able to do in a more reliable way).
