Hey everybody, upon restarting morrowind I searched planetelderscrolls for new mods to try and found one called "GS_TAMRIEL tribute to the community". It's fantastic - it adds a land mass that replicates areas of tamriel not present in morrowind (such as elsweyr, hammerfell) - the areas are small, and not as 'busy' as morrowind, but its still an incredible addition to my game, as I love just wandering around the countryside and seeing what I find. It also incorporates lots of mods into that landscape, so there is stuff to do and people to meet.

There are some bugs (none major- most annoying is the world map doesn't work right for the new area) but the scope it adds makes it definitely worth playing. I'm having so much fun with this that I had to tell everyone! If you enjoy the exploration aspect of morrowind, this mod is a must have! So go get it!

(disclaimer: I had nothing to do with making this mod or any of the mods in it, as a matter of fact I don't even know how to alter items in the editor, let alone build areas!)

Would this mod be the Project Tamriel mod that has been in development since before Morrowind was released? Is it finally finished? It's tempting to install MW on my current system and give it a go. In relation to the existing Vvardenfell, how large are the new areas?

I don't know whether it's related to Project Tamriel (I would guess not, as I didn't read anything about it), but it is pretty cool. According to the readme, its about 1/3 the size of vvardenfell in total.

I hit an annoying bug last night where a door thats supposed to lead somewhere just swings open and closed, frustrating cause I'm sure I could fix it if I knew the editor. But I still rate this as a fantastic addition to the game.
