Well I'm most of the way through the game and I have to say...
With the 1.3 patch the game is really not that bad... in fact it's pretty close to being fun. Sure there's a number of annoying incomplete sections, but there's enough cool stuff to keep the game interesting. As a dungeon crawl the game is really quite good, the dungeons have a lot of variety and some challenging puzzles. This game could have been great with another couple months of development. Even unfinished it's a damn sight better than Ruins of Myth Drannor, so it's not even close to my "crappiest games of all time" award. If you integrated some of the design concepts of this game into the next Morrowind, you'd have a very cool game. |

HUrrah, Thoran!!
There are many things to like in this game so I'm glad to read that you're getting close to the end! ![]() To many other things going on - I'm just not in "game mode" as I once was! ![]() |

You have to put in on a shrine to summon some messenger who'll tell you to go talk to a demon about an eye. The whole thing is about that guy in Skuldoon who's somehow managed to get you to be his lackey.
I want to introduce that guy to the pointy end of my sword someting fierce. |

The guy in Skuldoon (Vartog?) doesn't remind me of an orcish king. He reminds me more of Boss Hogg from the original Dukes of Hazzard...
I did see somewhere that you should save before summoning the messenger. Apparently, the messenger can get stuck in the trees, and if that happens, you're stuck... ![]() But I'm glad to see that you've found some fun in the game as well, Thoran! It does have some enjoyable elements to it after all...
