Paladin stronghold questions-->spoilers

hiya!
im just finishing off the final quest in the temple district and i decided to do the stronghold quest since my main char is a paladin
i completed the last quest in which you protect the daughter until the godparent comes ..but

it turns out it was an assassin afterall..nuts i knew it afterall but was too lazy to detect evil!! hehe it was suspiscious when 2 of the 3 dialogue choices were "show some ID" type answers

anyways im a bit disappointed and was wondering what i missed out on...exp ? items? rep etc

I think you messed up, If I remember correctly the quest that you are talking about is not the last quest, so my guess is that because you failed this quest the others wont become availiable.

Before you get down hearted though I must tell you that Its been a long time since I did the Paladin stronghold and there is a good chance I am completely wrong. Its just I have a small feeling that there were two, prehaps one more quest to do.

Anyway someone else will no doubt post before long and you will know then

Actually, I think that WAS the last quest. I've only done the Paladin stronghold once, but I think it's
1) Go kill some Ettins & stuff in the Umar Hills
2) After walking all the way back to Athkatla, walk all the way to the Umar Hills again just to hear people bicker & argue
3) Guard a whiny brat who deserves a spanking

If you screw up a quest, you miss out on a good suit of armor (the 2nd best in SoA? Maybe), one of the rooms in the Radiant Heart building (I couldn't even tell which one, and nobody uses it anyway), and if you were a Fallen Paladin, the "Fallen" status is removed and you get your Paladin abilities back.

I've got it i just remembered, If you haven't already killed Firkraag then you get sent to go and kill him and retrieve carsomyr for the Order, but end up allowing you to keep it. (I knew there was somthing)
