2)if so who should i drop(my party consists of me*lvl 9 ranger* minsc*lvl 9* jaheira*lvl 9*korgan*lvl 10*that bounty hunter guy*lvl 11*Aerie*lvl 7*),and if i drop Korg can i still do his quest?

1)No you don't need to - Keldorn will 'wait' for you

2)a) Korgan - he's evil - the rest of the party are neutral or good (high rep)
b)No

3) Sorry - don't know - I don't have it.

Korgan and Keldorn are both good warriors, though Korgan makes for a slightly better Tank: He has more HP, a slightly better AC, he can use his Berserk ability, and he's specialized in 1-handed weapons that can be used both ranged and melee, meaning he can wear a shield all the time without sacrificing weapon skill. Keldorn is also quite good, but he probably won't be your party's main Tank. His Dispel Magic and True Sight can also be priceless, at times.

Keldorn, IMO, is invaluable if your main character isn't a paladin. Get him the Gauntlets of Dexterity (which you'll find along the Unseeing Eye quest) and his AC drops incredibly. His innate "True Sight" ability is incredible, as is his "Dispel Magic"...coupled with that he is the only NPC that can legitimately wield Carsormyr (+5 Holy Avenger sword). Forget Korgan unless you're playing Neutral or Evil...also, Aerie splits after a bit if Korgan's in the group too long.

Keldorn IS invaluable especially later in the game when you come up with high level magic users. As has been said, his dispel magic & true sight are priceless. Plus iirc the Holy Avenger affects the target with a dispel magic if it hits.
