why do the guards in the slums hate me?

I have a rep. on my party of 12, and everytime I go into the slums the guards come....this hasen't always been the case. What did I do? How do I get them off my back?

Um, maybe u commited a felony, or there is a bounty on u. Who knows, i think its a bug. never happened to me.

Do you mean different guards everytime? If it´s the same guard, this usually means someone noticed your thief commited a crime, even if you left the place where the message appears before the game tells you this.

Try Killing the gard and see if it appears again. Do not worry, because if I´m correct, yor reputation won´t suffer and your party members won´t complain.

Another possibility is that a ]]you soimehow attacked this guard before (he was domminated, or maybe a inacurate area atack)

hmmn i dunno but dont kill the guard n dont sleep on the streets if u do it more than like 8 times in a row and they catch u they follow u round.

I take it those guards have red circles around them? In that case you probably screwed up earlier on by accidently (?) hitting an innocent bystander in combat or failing a pickpocket or something similar... You won't be able to change a thing about that, unfortunately.

I doubt it's a good idea, good chance other bystanders will turn red as well then...
