I did not really have any problems with any of the dragons in the game.
Minor spoiler

I also think that Firekraag is the hardest fight(all depending on how early you take him on), I never attacked Adalon since she is good and I always play good. The shadow dragon is a bit of a ■■■■■ compared to Firekraag. The Black Dragon in the end is not a real problem either, at least not at that level.

He meant Nizidramanii'yt, the Black Dragon guarding the cup of Rillifane in Suldanessellar. The dragon in Hell is a Red Dragon.

I usually have most trouble with Thixil... no, Thaxilla... no, the shadow dragon as I usually do the shadow dungeon fairly early on and usually have a go killing him.

Hmm, let me think....
AFAIK, there are 5 dragons in both SoA and ToB. I'm not even going to try spelling their names, however.

In SoA: Shadow Dragon, Firkragg, Adalon, the Dragon in Hell, and the Dragon in Suldanellesar.
In ToB: Saladrex, a green Dragon in WK, Abazigal, Draconis, and another one somewhere in Abazigal's lair.

That's the one I can think of.
