I downloaded the Arx Fatalis demo ( ), and I have no idea which video card I have. The one I tried left me with a background and no characters, except their shadows..

Ive never headr of the SR9 - probably some crappy integrated video chip. 8Mb of video RAM is painfuly out of date - its even worse than what I have. And thats bad. I doubt Arx Fatalis will run with it. I have seen video cards with insufficient memory behave like this before.

If it *is* an integrated chipset, you can probably allocate it more memory in BIOS, but youll either need to experiment or read your system board manual to find out how to do that.

Or you can simply run dxdiag You get the card name and the driver version. And the company who supplys the driver.
Shows what two years can get ya. I've been asking my dad for a new video card, he didn't believe me even after I told him Black&White was acting up. So this means, I don't even really have one?
