Just thought maybe we might want a news thread? What do you all think?

To Kick it off, I decided to mention a story fromt he Radio I heard today.
According to WMAL AM 630 In Washington DC.

The lady directly responsible for approving the Visa's for 9 of the 9/11 Hijackers has been given a $15,000 performance bonus for her work over the last year.

I think Government workers are one of the biggest scams perpetrated on the US population. I was one for a short period, never have I seen so many paid so much for so little.

A man who was trying to circle the world in a hot air baloon died today, when he stepped out of the ballon to admire it from a distance.

Icelandic soccerteam KR closed today the deal on buying David Beckham from manchester united. Instead MU gets the entire KR team, 500.000.000 pounds, 2 eskimos and a kangaroo.

Here are the results from the blind persons golf tournament, the winner was Donny Downing with 34.562 strokes, which was just enough to beat Larry Breckholmwich which lost any change he might have had, when he took a 560 on the final hole.

Thats it for today...

This didn't happen today, but two crooks in Ft. Worth were arrested when they tried to break into a car that two undercover officers were using to do surveillance on a suspected drug house. The two suspects were arrested by the bemused officers after they used a "slim jim" to open the door of the unmarked car.
