Greetings!
Perhaps I should introduce myself. I am Cackhon. For the last two years or so, I was a frequent poster on Gamespy's PlanetBaldur'sGate forums. I have an extensive knowledge of D&D, mythology, and Baldur's Gate I, Tales of the Sword Coast, and Shadows of Amn. I must say that these forums are some of the friendliest I've come across so far. It is a pleasure to be a member! That said, I have a question that someone may be able to answer. When I imported my character, I wanted to use the Defeault Male soundset from Baldur's Gate I ("Onward!", "I feel this is my rightful place", "It will be done"). However, it is not available for transfer in the Baldur's Gate I files -- as has been clarified many times -- but I've yet to come across a website that offers the soundset. Would anyone here know where I might find these files? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time, and for having me as a member! I look forward to discussing such wonderful games!

Hey mate,
Try this link : www.planetbaldursgate.com/xode/ Here you can find all the sound packs for Baldurs gate 1, Icewind dale, Torment and even some NPC soundpacks. The reason why you cant import them to BG2 yourself is basically because the formats are different so...don't worry if you can't hear anything when you try the soundfiles on media player, this is normal because they are not average soundfiles. I myself am using 2 from Planescape Torment, the readme file for BG2 explains how to import them if you are unsure. Do bear in mind that while its great to bring in different soundpacks from older games they do lack the changes that were added to BG2, for example in BG2 your characters verbally tell you when a weapon is useless against opponents ("this weapon is ineffictive") but since your using a BG1 soundpack you won't hear this (although it will still come up on the feedback console) - other than that everything else will work fine! Have fun
