quick question, spoiler information here

Hi again,

I have done all the damage I could do to bodhi and she took off like the she-vamp she is.

My question is, if I go back to the shadow theives and start the next chapter can I return back to the main world. There are still some quests I want to finish from chapter 2 and 3. But from what I saw after getting off the boat on the island that is where you have to stay.

Please enlighten me.

Yes you can, but first a looong time later so be sure you take some party members you could stand for a longer period of time. Also be sure you are able to handle a great variety of challenges. Brining a pair of restoration scrolls in case of emergency is also a good idea.

Also bring Yoshimo along for story reasons (don't worry you get to replace him with Imoen later on).

Eventually, you will make it back to your original destination.
It takes some time... but you will see those parts of Amn again. You should finish most of the early quests first however as you can gain a mass of experience points, which will most likely make your character all the more powerful. I know, it's tempting to explore but you need to prepare yourself first.

I agree with Indemaijinj: If you don't pack some Restoration scrolls, make SURE you go to the Adventurer's Mart and buy the Rod of Resurrection. Why? There are no Temples in Chapter 5, none at all. So if your Priest dies, you're toast. That's why.
