Sup doods, i was playing the temple districit sewers these days and i found two secret passages, one takes to that mage that captured HaerDalis, and the other one take to a place where u fight some mind flayers and umber hulks...however when i was playing the Underdark i entered the Ilithid lair and it had the same room was likely that one of the sewers, where i fought the mind flayers, my question is:
that secret passage in the sewers takes to somewhere else then to a battle?? (cuz i hate mind flayers so always that i can choose not to fight them i do it, lol) thanks.

No, it is not the same room(s). That's just the way Illithid's desing their rooms, you'll see it more in ToB.

Soiler?...opps spoiler
* * * * A good way to kill a mind flayer and say safe is cast mis-lead and send the copy in to melee combat the mind flayers can use the mind powers on the copy so they go melee to and do about 1 damage a hit so the rest of the party can take them out with ranged weapons and be safe. Or just use chaotic commands on your party and then go hand to hand.

What i find the best way to kill mind flayers is to summon a lot of skeleton warriors, since they are immune to the psionic abilities the mind flayers have, they are basically invincible.Just summon them and block the door, then use range weapons or use your mage to cast spells to finish them off.

You could use the greenstone amulet
* * * * * * * * * * * Found in the underdark. It grants you immunity to all psionics (I think). Or use any brine potios you have left over from the illithid underdark areas.
