Now for some technical stuff. I wanted to use some movies and sound clip out of BG for other multimedia, and my programs say all of BG2's files of sound and movies are incompatible. Help anyone? I have PC and Windows Media Player (vers?).

To put it simply, the sound files for the later infinity game (BG2, IWD2) are in a compressed format called WAVC. It is possible to find converters to make them into WAV files, but Bioware officialy disproves of people accessing the sound/movie formats so the site can be hard to find.
The movie files are in a similar condition. I happen to have the sound converter if you want it emailed out. Youll have to find how to access the movies yourself though - I dont know if its possible. www.teambg.com used to have a link to the IESDP, who have information on this kind of thing. Dont have a URL for them though.
