command to divert a supply column away from an ambush/minefield in
southern Iraq in the early stages of the campaign and there were 3
instances like this which I know of personally. So, things like that
definitely made all the hard work we put in (12 - 14 hours a day) very

Thank you so much everyone! This guy is so much more like a little brother to me than just a friend. What a relief for me, his family and his friends.

Hoping for even swifter progress in hopes another friend won't be shipped out next month. At least he'll be heading into a much friendlier territory but chances are, he'll be en route with supplies as they make their way through Iraq.
