According to Fox : Iran Tv is reporting that a uprising is taking place in Baghdad. According to rumor the people have killed 35 Iraqi policemen in the city.
If that is the case that is very good news. The less fighting in Baghdad the better for everyone involved. |

Interestingly, this news was broken initially by the Iranian and Kuwaiti media. Western media is still not confirmation of the Baghdad uprisings, but the next couple of hours should prove to be quite interesting.
It does appear that the Iraqi citizens are fighting--and killing--both Hussein's military forces and the paramilitary Fadayeen. If so, then it's all over except for the name-taking.

I'd love to see that stupid minister of information walk around the corner talking about how there are no U.S troops in Bagdad and get run over by a humvee full of U.S soldiers...oops
