This is my first post in this particular forum. Having scrolled through several threads and reading people's thoughts I am beginning to wonder whether this forum is a good idea. I hate to see Ironworks members argue, flame and insult each other and it seems to me that there has been a lot of this going on lately. I, for one, would love to see people openly giving their opinions, being civil to one another and to accept that not everyone can agree on everything. I want to be an active poster in this forum but am worried about other people perhaps misunderstanding what I say, or flaming me because I don't entirely agree with their points of view. I know everyone is agitated and somewhat tense after the events of the past few months, but we must try and put those feelings aside and discuss these matters in a mature, responsible way. Whether we agree with someone else or not is irrelevant, we must all try to get along while debating matters in here. Don't forget - we are all friends and should act as such!

I thought I'd stick my head in and say Hi!
I hope all my friends are still here and I want to thank you for all the nice things that many of you have said to and about me. It made it very hard to stay away. It seems that the storm has died down here quite a bit and we should try to keep it that way. The way this Forum looks and acts is a reflection on us all! It has felt like I've been away for a long time (1 whole day!) but that says something about all of you. It is just like a family here and I don't intend to leave again. (Sort of like running away from home like a kid!) Hang loose and be good! Mark |
