I know that the protagonist is the only one who can cast find familiar but which of the mage classes is protagonist??

So, basically, if your main character isn't a mage (or sorcerer), you can't have familiars. (yeah, I know, it sucks).

I dont like familiars anyway. WHen they die you have a chance to die instantly plus u lose 1 constitution permantly. PLus they dont hit much or for much, the only thing i liked about mine was talking to it when i was bored and smacking it around haha. I prefer undead and wyverns [img]smile.gif[/img]

But then if your playing a mage or sorc you need all the HP you can get. Plus I hear the ferret familiar can be useful as a makeshift thief.
