Would my government please grow some balls and bomb this guy's mosque already. I mean, there comes a point where the "hands off" rule goes out the window. Iraq's government met in long sessions this week, and rather than make any progress on the real issues of fixing Iraq, they spend most of their time talking about this fat bearded Arab asshole coward.

On the one hand, you can't bomb a mosque.

On the other, these assholes know it, and go hide in mosques, just bristling with their cheap knock-off AK's. Have you seen the footage from inside? It looks like a bad remake of the sacrifice scenes from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Then, the "Arab street" beams at him approvingly for "standing up to" the U.S. He didn't "stand up" -- he hid his fat ass in a mosque, you f-tards.

Give him a 3-day warning. Then bomb the frikkin mosque into the sand is what I say. And, screw all this talk of him deciding to go "political" instead of rebellious. There is only one political statement this guy should ever be able to make, and that would be with his head stuck on a pike.

Whew! That felt good.

Patience, my child, patience.

He's not exactly fighting a winning battle, and while I don't think they will bomb the mosque, he can't hide in there forever.

Isn't there other options than Bombing it. How about gas it, or freeze it. That way you get Mock Tatar and not damage the building having everyone saying how the US was so bad destroying a holy site.

If you refer to Imam Ali's Mosque, they've already taken it:

Iraqi police enter mosque without fight

NAJAF, Iraq (CNN) -- Iraqi police seized control of the Imam Ali Mosque in Najaf on Friday after the fighters loyal to Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr withdrew, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said.

The Iraqi Interior Ministry said police peacefully entered the mosque Friday afternoon.

U.S. and Iraqi forces had surrounded the outskirts of the mosque compound Friday as part of offensive operations aimed at putting pressure on the fighters, who were holed up in the mosque complex.

A spokesman for al-Sadr said al-Sadr ordered the mosque to be handed over to "the highest religious authority."

Iraqi Ministry of Health officials Friday said 77 Iraqis were killed and 70 were wounded in heavy fighting in Najaf overnight.

The dead included six Iraqi police officers.

Recent fighting in the city center has damaged the mosque and two of its minarets, according to a CNN producer who visited the compound.

Al-Sadr had refused to negotiate on the latest Iraqi government ultimatum because, an aide said, he and his forces want to deal with the Iraqi National Conference delegation and not the interim government.

Thousands of militants loyal to al-Sadr were inside the mosque, and Iraqi officials had threatened to "liberate" the mosque in a military offensive if the forces don't leave.

"We are very determined that blood loss should be minimized," interim Prime Minister Ayad Allawi said.

CNN producer Kianne Sadeq, who went inside the mosque compound Thursday with a group of journalists, reported persistent sounds of mortars, gunfire and explosions. She said there was also a great deal of sniper fire.

The journalists were greeted by the Mehdi Army with cheers and chants of "We will not stand down!" Fighters flashed pictures of al-Sadr and many danced. Also inside the compound were women and children, most of whom appeared in a festive mood like the rest of the al-Sadr followers. (On the Scene: Inside the mosque)

Homes and businesses around the compound were heavily damaged. The streets were empty, and Sadeq described the area as a virtual ghost town.

"Everything outside of the mosque seems to be totaled," Sadeq said.

The Iraqi Ministry of Health also said Friday that fighting in Baghdad overnight had killed 13 Iraqis and wounded 107, with most of the casualties happening in Sadr City, the Iraqi Ministry of Health said. The area is a Shiite neighborhood and a focus for the activities of al-Sadr supporters.

Well, damn, I just wanted to see a mosque blown up. JOKE.

Actually, what I wanted to see was this guy killed but good. If he lives through this and emerges in politics, it will give credence and encouragement to everyone anywhere that would pick up an AK or an RPG and become a terrorist.

Why not ? Because it's one of their holy places ? Almost everything is holy to them in that twisted land, and besides, do they have any doubts about bombing a christian church, or a building which is in a way sacred to the people in question ? I don't think so, so i can't see the problem. The man is in that building, with a few hundred of his bastard followers, so by all means, torch the place.

Johnny, I'm lamenting the fact that that is not our policy. Actually, after the attacks on Christian churces in Iraq, I was all for destroying an equal number of mosques just to let them know that a price would always be exacted.

But, that would push more of them against us, and cause more fighting. If we could cause more fighting like that and make sure only people from Iraq would be the ones to die, that's be one thing -- but US lives would be sacrificed as well, so it doesn't work out.

The ones that are willing to fight are already at their toes, bombing a mosque won't increase their numbers. People who don't want any trouble left that area a long time ago, those who are still there know what the consequences can be, so why not give it to them ?

It's only a small problem right now, but if you don't deal with it swiftly, it could become a real issue. Respecting holy places doesn't work in situations like this, it's a weapon that can be used against you if your ignorant enough.

Bah! just stomp the mosque and raze it to the ground. end it as soon as possible I say. Eventhough the muslim countries will be angry with this but they wouldn't dare do anything except sending pathetic protest and condemnations.
