I actually really like cooking. But I know a lot of people who claim they can't cook (although I think that is mostly that they don't - cooking really isn't that hard ). What about you?

I like cooking too, experimenting with food is fun, 6the mess afterwards is a little less, but that's what dishwashers are for.
For a while i had an interrest in becoming a chef. Two of my friends are in that business too, but there's one big downside on being a cook... basically you have very little free time. Cooks are always working, Christmas, new years eve, and every other holliday outthere.

I do cook when my maid is off and my parent is away, my cooking is edible and will not make one sick. Wanna try some?

I'm a decent cook and the results are edible, I've tried many times and I'm still alive.

I like to cook and I'm told I do it fairly well. And *I* like my own cooking, anyway, that's more important
![]() Usually make mediterranean (Greek, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, etc.) or Dutch dishes, mostly in my own interpretation. I hardly ever use recipes unless I want to try something I've never done before. I'm not as good at baking stuff though, maybe because I almost never do it. Only thing I make sometimes is a special cake with walnuts and raisins, whenever my family asks me to. But a friend gave me a recipe-book filled with chocolate recipes for my birthday, and I'm gonna try some of those soon. [ 05-22-2004, 10:30 AM: Message edited by: Melusine ]

I generally like cooking. It's quite relaxing. Although after really long days, I usually just eat yoghurt and noodles

I never did cook for a large dinner party, but I'm not afraid to do so. Since I'm 17 I haven't done much cooking myself yet, but I can't imagine it's really hard. If people say they liked your meal it's most of the time cause they either like what you cooked already or you just chose the right things together. So the hardest thing is choosing the right stuff together. I don't have to cook myself yet but sometimes when I've gone out I make something and I still have to cook something I don't like myself LOL

I learned to cook at a very young age, and my skills have grown since then, to the point where my family will not cook certain things at all if I'm around, because they know that they won't be able to match my abilities. Desserts immediately come to mind, but many other things as well.

Cooking? Yeah, I think I've heard mention of that before. But here in New Zealand we have these wonderful little inventions called 'women' that do it for us
