Tomorrow morning at 9:30, CST, she goes in to take a State exam, for her Health and Life Insurance license.
Speaking from experience, it is not an easy exam. This is necessary for our new business. Wish her well !!!

Wish you luck Charean!
Not to be rude, (I've never heard of it before ) but why do you need a license for health and life insurance? It sounds sort of like our ACC (accident compensation *don't know the last word *)

Thanks bunches !!!
To Downunda - it is one of those things required by the State to sell insurance for life/health. After this I will need a license to also sell mortgages, and then securities. From what I understand, this is definately the toughest of the 3. Since we are a capitalistic country without a nationalized health care, we have to rely on individual companies to provide or not if we have the money to get it. Short part of the matter... I am studying everything having to do with any financial need one may have. I am learning a lot, but it is really tough picking up the lingo of different professions. I got a 79% on the practice test, I only need 70% to pass. Parts of it are a real bear, particularly the tax parts. ICK! I have been taking breaks during the day... but I need to study a bit more tonight. (ickypoo and all that!)

Quote:
the montana test was structured in two parts, the health (medicaire/caid, restrictions, preexistings, yadda yadda. AND the state laws that apply.) then guess what? the life/annuity test covers of course all the differing types of life - make sure that you have the progression from level term thru variable universal whole, and then the annuity defn's, AND THEN - you get almost all the same law questions from the first half! dont get test anxiety thinking you already answered these questions, 'cause you did, just kick back and collect double bonus points for being VERY well grounded in your law! (GAWD, hope your test is similiar to ours.... ) good luck.
