battle with roenall ?

at some point in the game you are summoned back to d arnise hold
where lord roenall demands you simply hand over the place to him
of course i refused (who the hell does he think he is ?) and so he
threatens to come back with an army .
my question is: does that ever happen ? or was he just bluffing ?
by now i completed SoA and i went back to the keep a couple of times
but roenall never showed his ugly face again. So what's up with this ???????

Not sure if it happens that late, when it happened to me it was just before i went to Spellhold.

Would not say it was an army though more like a gathering of Skivvies.

Bit naff really, dont even think that Roenall had anything worth while on him.

Too much lag if you have like 100 soldiers on the map. If you really want to have a battle, just CLUA in more hostile soldiers! I'll go look for the code for armoured soldiers later...Tried it in BG1, created 50 Flaming Fist soldiers and 100 gibberlings or so, took like 10 seconds for people to hit each other (of course my whole party had morale failure

Hmm.....I think I'd like to try that. Of course, anybody you CLUA in will appear right next to your main character, so I'd have to turn myself Invisible and sneak behind enemy lines before multiplying their forces tenfold. At least I'd get something like a decent fight out of it, instead of something that Cernd could walk through blindfolded.
