If you really want to dual-class to one of those fellas then I personaly would pick the mage... its just the way I play... that and he would be pretty powerful.
![]() And dual-classing is really simple. Just go to your character sheet and click on dual-class then pick what you want to dual to! There! Youre done! HORAY!!! Now you can kick some hobgoblin arse! ![]() ![]()

Firstly, you need to be human to dual class. Secondly, you need at least 15 ability points in your current classes primary attribute, and 17 in the atribute(s) required by the class you want to dual to. For example, to dual a fighter into a mage, you need at least 15 STR and 17 INT. Another example, to dual to a druid, you would need to be of True Neutral alignment and have 15 STR, 17 WIS and 17 CHA. Confusing at first, but you'll get the hang of it.
EDIT: These ability scores need to be natural i.e. wearing a girdle of STR doesn't count, nor does wearing gauntlets of dexterity. Dual classing relies upon the characters unmodified stats [ 04-22-2002, 06:41 PM: Message edited by: Jim ] |

Ah yes, I forgot. You need the specific reqirements in ability points. Jim was compleatly and totally correct.
Personaly I don't even bother with dual-classing. I just play as a full class. (Except for one time when I played as a multi-class. *shudder* Ohhhh.... not a good idea if you want to level up. ![]()

NEVER FEAR!!!!! BLACK_KNIGHT IS HERE!!!!
I shall give you an elongated description. *takes deep breath* When you dual class as say, a level 9 mage to a fighter, you temeraraly (sp) lose the ablities of the mage. That means no spells. Then your character acts as a level one fighter. (cause thats what he is dualing to) You then gain XP and levels in only the fighter class. When your fighter reaches the level of the privious class, (in this case 9) you get back your ablities from your mage, but you don't level up as a mage any more. Only as a fighter. So that means that you have all of the spells and abilities you had before you leveled up but they can never increase to something better. The increases instead go to the other class. *lets out breath forcefully* There.... hope that helped!
