Help Needed!!!

When The Box Comes Up Asking Me To Type In The Password For The Internet, It Wont Let Me Tick The Boxes Saying "Remember Password" And "Connect Automatically"

The two boxes are greyed in, how do I 'un-grey' them???

You have to connect once using that connection before you can save them. If you just make a connection and try and save a password to it it, it won't work. If you make a connection, log on, then log off, THEN save the password, it should go.

Well, it aint going.

Since I reformatted, this connection wont let me save my password....

The box is greyed in, and I have connected many a time using it!

In the properties box, it also wont work as its greyed in. Any help??

I have actually seen computers which dont let you save this password.

Ok, now Ive got the password set, but I cant get it to let me to auto-connect

how do i do that?

Do you have different user profiles set up on your computer?

The wife and I have separate profiles (mine D&D stuff, her's usually something cutesy, currently Scooby Doo), and when we had a dial up connection, we had a similar problem.

Have you been to modems under control panel? Did you check properties there?

Yes, it is something to do wiht the formatting.
