Ok ive managed to kill the unseeing eye and somethigns gone wrong. I think it went wrong because the rod didnt kill him outright and i had to run over and wack him to make him die. Then the rod disapeared from my inventory and when i tried to speak to the avatar he had nothing to say to me. Wheres my rod gone???? And i havnt got a saved game either, is this a known bug?

I've found that sometimes the rod only drastically hurt him, and a few more attacks were needed. The rod always vanished from my inventory afterwards.
How do you mean, the avatar has nothing to say to you? Do you get the message that he's busy, or does he just stand there when you click on him, or does he say something else? |

The rod never killed the Unseing eye in one hit in my game. From what I heard, it remove him all his health but one, like a harm spell that can't miss.

For what I know, the rod will leave your quick item slot BUT remain in your inventory. If you have a full inventory already, the rod will sometimes just drop on the floor. Also the rod is not supposed to kill the Unseeing Eye directly. It just severerly injure it.
Something interesting is that the rod seems to be usable on other enemy...... |

You can use it once, on anyting. It is just more usefull to use it on him.

Well, if Samoza isn't going to reply to us, we'll never be able to help him, no matter what we say. I suppose he got his reply elsewhere, and hasn't bothered to tell us.
