I know some of you play Diablo 2 because of the help thread about the druid, you should all play together on one of the gateways sometime.

d2 expansion stinks, I dumped the game the day after 1.09 patch is out
my friend is even better, he sold his items for $200 on ebay before the patch, good boy

lol, but its true it does stink i played through the game without the expansion up to the second quest of Act III and i installedthe addon and went multiplayer first time ARGH!

so what characters did you play?

before exapnsion, I played a paladin (charge + concentration) Holy freeze against zons, thorn against barb

but he was my first pally, so he sucked (I only play PK character, btw) couldn't kill anything in hell. I just join an 8 ppl game, and ally everyone, and pick up items while they kill for my exp... sigh, so lame

then I played my necro, a perfectly (almost) built PK necro. oh did he rock he is still level 47 now, but killed dozens of level 70, 80 barbs. zons are OK, sorcs are the ones to play with, a lot of fun.

then I dropped necro and started a barb ( bad experience....) when I started my barb, it was the patch came out that added 50% physical resistance in nightmare and hell. also, it dropped WW's dmg, AND cut down weapon's dmg... sigh... blizzard such SOB

my friend had a bowzone all the time, and was never weakened. her dex is 590, does 1400+ dmg with mutishot. (my barb never got close to her... eerrrrr)

then expansion came out (pre-patch) we had fun then, my otehr friend (real life friend) played a barb with berserk, oh my, he found tons of good shit.

and I started my first non-pk character, a mf sorc. but couldn't finish it

before that I played an assasin, had someone giving me items, so that character was probally the best I had. absorbs lighting dmg (even maxed thunderstorm couldn't hurt him) does 1600 - 1800 dmg per hit (physical dmg) with 19000 ar, 1400 dmg dragon flight... yay! my all time favor! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I first played necro up to level 11 and got bored so i decided to get slaughtered by vile hunters,

I then started to play sorceress( very powerful) i got up to level 18 with glacial spike which was very good but then got chronic restarters disease and started again with a barbarian,

My barbarian was very good (level 64) and had whirlwind and natural resistance and 20 slots in axe proficiency whilst wielding one of those axes that do 71 damage normally and did LOTS of damage. hehe

Now i play assassin and is level 12 (started yesterday) and she has dragon talon as left move and tiger strike as right, i press w and she has burst of speed on right and cloak of shadows on left when i am in town so i can head out and kik ass very quickly without being noticed! But i just got butchered this fternoon by a level 61 barb who went hostile on me GRR! and i lost all my money and items!

I used to play all the time too. Unfortunately everyone's accounts started getting stolen. Well my bro's got stolen, and Shane must've been drunk or something that night. (I'm not going to talk about it, but if I had been at his house, he would still have his account) and Julio's dad broke his game (AGAIN!!!)

Anyway I had 3 decent characters.
Fluke was a level 64 assasin. Level 25 phoniex strike, Level 25 claw mastery, and 2 bartucs claws. She was my best character doing around 350-1050 damage with both hands. I made a few mistakes. I could never find any sort of resis armor, even though I had the oppurtunity to trade for some.

I had a level 63 druid too. He used a guardian naga, and had max fury.
Unfooutunately like 250 mentioned it's impossible to survive melee in hell.

I had a 54 sorc and level 34 paladin. (Conviction and Vengeance.) I was making a barb but never got around to it. That was around the time of the dissaperaing accounts. So i quit playing and so did everyone I mentioned.

Yep, diablo 2 stinks. I got sick of the online people, and i sold some of my stuff for a hundred bucks , thats how i got SoA and ToB

you should remembered diablo 1 where my fighter could cast the strongest mage spell "apocalypse" now that sucked since it was pretty cheezzy...

a little tip for barbarian (dont know if it still works in the latest patch) : but leap attack is one of the most darn irritating attack a barb can make against a fellow pk. before the expansion, my paladin was only ard lvl 39 and was kicking ass in nightmare. i challenged my friends barbarian and kicked his ass no matter what he did. then he tried the leap attack, and i never bested him since. in the old patch, the leap attack hits a person no matter where he lands and with the additional damage the skill gives (my charge and zeal and even the frosty aura didnt work), i was toast in two leaps and he was only lvl 35. i heard that the patch lowered the leap attack capability but im not sure.
