One of those "What The Hell!?" Moments

I'm in the Underdark with my Swashbuckler, and I know that I didn't cast any type of spells that might somehow get to the Underdark Dwarves and get them all mad at me.

So I get done with the Flayer Lair, and I decide to go see the Dwarves. They're hostile, and they attack me. That's not supposed to happen, so I'm like, "What the hell!?!?"

So I reload an autosave, maybe I did something by accident that caused them to go hostile.

I go back to said dwarfs.

I get attacked again.

What the hell!?

I ended up restarting the game, unfortunately, this will be my 20th time going through Chapter 1 again with any character, so it's boring as hell, and hard for me to go through right now.

I wish I knew what the hell went wrong...

I would have just killed all the buggers heh. I play a good character and have a rep of 19 but at one stage it got down to 4 after I killed everyone in The Estate Of Saerk Farrahd in the Bridge District. I didn't do it purposely though. I thought they were the fallen paladins heh.

lol thats strange, do you mean all the guards that are in there? I killed all of them (they were already hostile as soon as I entered) and I didny lose reputation

Well I've been through the Underdark 4 times, and usually they don't attack at all.

However, I do think I know what went wrong. I didn't go to see them first. (Or it's some bug.)

You haven't done the silver dragon quest thingy have you? They'll most probably not like you if you look like drow...

Nope, didn't do that. Besides, you need a jewel from the dwarves to meet the Sliver Dragon...

The silver dragon will change you to look like drow, and they will not attack you. You also get something from the dragon XP and/or Item (I think)

Yes... I beleive this is one of those "WHAT THE HELL" moments... though I personally would say it in a much less appropriate way

I would have actually finished the game in time if that hadn't happened too! I was so mad!

Then my computer had to go and crash on me...
