2. how do I make a neat forum? just like IW

I don't want to copy IW's design, so I would be grateful to any hint and possibly guideline

Well first of all learn HTML. Then some kind of script language like vbScript.
That'll get ya going!
and maybe ASP too.

There are plenty of scripts available for free on the net, but I don't know the quality, I've never used them. It may be a good step until you are a little more well versed in the whole thing though.
