stuck and going nowhere

i am going nowhere in my game now
no new areas seem to be becoming explorable
i have infiltrated the thieves guild but ended up in a fight with other sect, now renal says come back when i need u, i dont know how to take the game forward, i am no nearer to see imoen again. any help appreciated

To make other parts of the map explorable go to the city gate 1at... I hope that answers ur question [img]smile.gif[/img]

talk to bystanders and they will maybe offer you adventure:
look for Lord jierdan and nalia in the copper coronet, talk to tolgerias in the governement building and to the little boy in the gov. district, talk to the man in the city gate district, etc.
they all will update your world map with new locations and connected quests.
to leave the city for the first time you MUST exit through the city gates (exit city gates district to the east)
