If anyone uses the gatherer add-on for WoW, then they know that it marks all plants/mines/containers that you use so that you can find them again later. I found this incredibly useful program that has all if not nearly every mine/plant/chest around. It then marks them on your in-game map and they show up normally on the mini-map. Damn useful if you ask me!
