By chance, is there a decent map for Dungeon Siege? I'm getting tired of the close-up view of the map, and yearn for something that's scrollable and scalable so I can figure out just where I am. Failing that, is there a walkthrough map somewhere? I suppose I could go check on GameSpot, but I'm a trifle lazy at the moment
Also, is there a way to be able to adjust the camera angle so you can look up? It's kind of nice to have the god-level view, but when I want to see what's on the next level up, it's kind of frustrating... The game has been mostly enjoyable, although it's descending into a hack and slash in the ice caves. Still, an enjoyable way to spend the evening ![]()

Thanks, Wyv. Unfortunately, those don't have what I'm looking for. I'm after the equivalent of dungeon maps, so I can figure out where the h3!! I am...
I'll do some googling tonight to see what I can find.

The Prima strategy guide has all the maps you'll need and also pleanty of nifty tables that have stats for experience, classes, spells, items, and such. I don't know if it's still selling at full price, but if it's on sale I'd pick it up. The game itself is pretty straight-forward. There are some hidden areas in each location and the occaisonal puzzle. If you get stuck on a quest you can always check out GameFaqs.com
As for camera angles, you might be able to download a mod that allows you to move the camera more. I found the game to be suitable as is, so I never bothered with anything like that though. You should be able to find some more info on mods over at PlanetDungeonSiege: http://www.forumplanet.com/planetdungeonsiege/

There are two stable mods (or were a couple years ago! ) that allow the camera angle to go down to level with the deck -- so you can get some upward visibility, but it's not more than 10 degrees improved upon the default.

Thanks, guys. I'm heading out today for the rest of the week, but I'll look for those mods when I get back. I keep trying to peek under the top of my monitor...
