I was reading my very unreliable GMR magizine and it said that square enix announced a ff7 sequal called ff7-2 i dont think its true but well can anyone confirm this???

GMR is produced by a bunch of morons, who couldn't write a decent review if their lives depended on it.
All that aside, their info isn't entirely incorrect. Squenix is making FFVII-Advent Children. The last report I've read, from the far better GameInformer magazine, says that it will be a PS2 rerelease of FFVII with the 1 hour DVD Advent Children in the package. We don't even know if we're looking at an American release yet, according to TechTV's show X-Play. FFVII rerelease is expect to have better graphics and a few more bits and pieces.
