A good cover makes one pick up the game without hearing about it.

M&M6 cover - I can't even remember what the cover was but I think it had a party fighting a red dragon. The cover was what introduced me to the M&M series, as well as the Heroes series.

King's Quest 8 also had an appealing cover.

I'd have to choose between Super Mario Bros (the original) or Seiken Densetstu 3

Non-Japanese box covers suck, for the most part. They always chenge them for an American release, and 99% of the time, it's worse. For a good example, go look at the classic Mega Man 2. They didn't think people liked anime, so they made it some carnish looking super-hero dressed in blue HOLDING a lazer. He didn't even have the buster arm.

As for favorite? I can't really say I have one. Most box covers don't really appeal to me. I'll just say Guilty Gear X2, because it has Sol and Ky on the front.

Beoulve, do you still have that cover? you have to upload it and show it to me , reminds me of the American "Stryder" cover for the megadrive, you have some strange middle aged man sporting a dodgy leotard, it makes me angry to think they didn't leave the japanese cover of that game, it was so cool.

I personally don't have a favourite, i don't know....probably the Sonic the Hedghog covers for the megadrive, they always seem to catch my eye.

Hmmm, I wonder why you like it so much?

And for me it would be the Majesty Cover, I never knew why but a kingdom in the palm of my hands sounded so fun, and it was!

Hmmmm.... I don't have one. Well maybe the original FF for NES. No not the Origins that came out for PSone. I mean the real original.
