I went to kirith and they do not have a name generator. they have a character generator. nice pictures though.
an unusual name to suggest, hmmm ...... how about Barbarella for a female and ........ Sequioa for a male. |

thinking up your own names is part of the fun.i have an iwd game where my characters are named after things i faound on my desk.for instance Ech Sedryn Mygrayn.and Kanun Beejaysee.

go to the "search" button, and look it up. i remember someone posting a random name generator before, and i had it myself until i got a new hard-drive. it was fairly neat though, LOTS of names.

I agree with SoaS that it depends on what race, gender, and class you're going to play. An elf would have a more elegant name than a dwarf or human, and a fighter would have a harsher sounding name than a mage or cleric. I use a Latin dictionary and a Gaelic/Scottish name book to come up with ideas for names I use. For example my female thief was Neilina, and my elven fighter was Alasdair.
