I would like your thoughts on a few questions:

(1) How does Morrowwind hold up on the Xbox?

(2) If my pc is old and slow, which platform should I get the game for?

(3) Is there anyway to cheat/hack on the Xbox to personalize your character?

Thanks in advance,

Lord Ed

I got Morrowind for the Xbox, and it was a blast. The only problem I had was dirty disk errors after a couple weeks of play, but figured out how to fix them. On this game if you don't have a super fast rig and good video card this game will be a slideshow and I'd get it for the Xbox. Only thing that stinks is that we don't get the mods and now the PC has Tribunal, which we're not going to get on the Xbox. I've finished the game and most of the side quests and am jonesing to play some more. Guess it's time to upgrade my PC again, damnit. This game's a CPU hog.

1) The Xbox version is quite a clean game. I do like the controling better on the Xbox than I would on PC. There are tons of keystrokes and what not and the Xbox control handles them well.

2) If your PC is old and slow go Xbox.

3) There are some cheats on the Xbox but nearly as many as on the PC. Plus who needs to cheat anyway

JohnRR: That error is a common thing on the xbox version. It only occurs on first released copies. It was later fixed thankfully

Many said that, i'll repeat: if you don't have a high end machine (at least 1.9GHz with Geforce3/ati radeon, 512 RAM), buy it on xbox. Otherwise you will get frustrated after 10 secs and 5 frames of play.

Too bad you will miss bug fixes, editor, tribunal and plugins.

Or you can buy both the X-Box and the PC version. Play it on the X-Box, and use the PC CD version as a coster for your drink during fun filled hours of adventuring.
