There are always slaughterfish in th lake. Just swim around a bit, you're bound to find some. The reward will make it worth your while.

If the green marker points out to a rock, then the fish will be swimming somewhere near it, so look around a bit, you'll find it, or better...it will find you.

No fish, just a piece of rock.
Nevermind, I manage to finish this quest by leaving the area for several days and do other quests while waiting for the fishes to respawn. |
