I'm posting this here because for some reason I can't post on Vault network. Steve (deathstalker, Thor) posted on VN wanting players opinion on changes we would like to see. I am amazed he has spent so much time making such a quality mod and still has energy to do more. This is what I would like to see.

The good thing about Wiz8 is the role play aspect. You can create any kind of player you want. I was thinking of renaming some spells however with a few different effects if possible.

Druid class Priest with spells like entangle (web just different graffics) The poison dart spell (thorns of retribution) Summon monsters could be all Animals. You could also make a Dark Preist with spells to support the dark arts. I think what I am saying is lower the choices of spellcasters so they are all specialists. I like the mage class not having the ability to use spellbooks kind of like a wild mage or sorccerer. From a D&D background I always liked the idea of druids and Clerics getting thier spells from the gods instead of books. I would suggest doing something like that but really theming it out, heavy protection spells early and damage spells later. You could lable some spells Druid spells just so the players can think I'm not playing a priest I'm playing a Druid.

There does need to be more incentive to play a psyonic, someone mentioned on the other board to pull all mental realm spells away from the other classes. I like that idea accept for I would move ID Item to Divinity. Also take all cloud spells away from the mage and other classes and save them for the alchemist alone.

I like the new gadgets but would like to see the lightning rod or the one that shoots poison from 2.1 in the opening chest. The stone thrower is great and has save my butt many times but there is a time for just a single gadget shooter. I guess that is what the omnigun is for.

Weapons could be even more class specific giving big bonus' to the specific class. That way you have more of a team game with specialist magic users, and fighters. The bishop could then be changed to a jack of all trades offering the use of all the items in the game. You may have to call them something else that fits however. This way people can still solo and not loose out on items. Call them Cosmic Lord in trainning, there has to be a word that would fit that description, Creativity is not my strong point.

I just started it last night. I'm really not too crazy about it. There's too much stuff.

There is a lot of stuff especially in the beginning and some of the fights are tough. I have to wait and do the bridge fight until 7th level. You useually don't leave the monistary until 8th level but arnika road is not that hard compared to some of the fights in the monistary. Playing a lord and a sam in this mod really pays off.
