Some help please... my first character -

- So I'm just starting the game.

I'm kind of curious as to what character to use. I do have a vauge idea in mind - actually, I want to reincarnate my Morrowind character.

I don't know if it's going to be any good though. So some opinions/advice would be nice. ^^

This is a rough concept of what I have in mind:

Dunmer

Atributes -

Major
Strength
Agility
Speed

Minor
Intelligence
Willpower
Personality

Skills

Major
Blade
Hand to Hand
Speechcraft
Destruction
Mysticism
Sneak

Minor
Restoration
Athletics
Acrobatics

Something along those lines. I don't recall the exact number of major skills - although I could look it up [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I'm also wondering whether to become a Vampire. A Vampire Dunmer seems intriguing to me... I don't know if I can still complete the main quest though since I hear that people don't talk to vampires

I'm thinking very much of going for an assassin-secondary mage style character.

So... opinions?

No clue how that kinda character'd work out [img]tongue.gif[/img] ... so, just pointing out... you choose 2 attributes that'll recieve a +5 bonus, and 7 major skills. All other skills will be minor, and won't count towards your level or get any initial bonus. Also, you choose one of combat, stealth and magic, which will affect the speed you level skills in that category, or some such. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I always found it strange that people would have any more than 1 weapon proficiency, unless the second one was marksman. It's hardly like they're really inclusive categories, and you'll get lots of weapons throughout the game. I'd advise taking Block instead of Hand-to-Hand - it becomes really useful, especially later on in the game.
