You need a long range weapon. It's not worth much exp. but it's just the idea of him flying around. You are in a good spot in this picture because you can run up to the edge and get a little closer before you iniciate combat.

I see that bat about 1/4 of my trips to the Tree. Usually behind Das' house. If you can't KO or kill it right away, it flies away unable to attack.

I never seem to have any problems killing the bat.

It ain't bothering you and it eats a lot of insects, so just leave it be!

The only time I've ever killed it is with a ranger crit. I would imagine if you had a mage-type with high initiative, and could get a high-quality Web or somesuch spell on it, you could get rid of it pretty quickly, particularly with Bloodlust.

How do you know? Since it's a giant size it may be eating those trynnies. You see empty houses in trynton right? Maybe this giant bat ate them.

Usually, Bloodlust wouldn't work, because i rarely see it in short range.
Instakill spells work on it most of the time, and it's fairly easy to paralyse. Then just shoot at it for a couple rounds, and it's over.
