I got a new computer recently, and I have a GeForce 5700FX video card. I have the latest drivers and on OpenGL I get lines through stuff and the screen moves very slowly...and on DirectX7 mode I get MAJOR texturing problems that make it unplayable.

[Edit: Fixed the problem...just turned video sync off...but it still doesn't run as nicely as it should on a 2.2ghz 512mb w/ GeForce5700FX 256mb card :/ Oh well.]

See attached thread on the VN Boards. Hopefully something is in there to help you. They talk somewhere about removing the gridlines.

there's a fix in that thread, at the end, with a download link. he changed the OGL DLL, to give it the correct command so those of us who get the grid problem can fix it.
just remember to save a copy of the original dll, renamed... in case, y'know?

I had a similar experience (detailed farther down in this Forum). What fixed it for me is setting the graphics to DX6! [I know, you'd think "more modern" would be better].
