Just got a mod which adds some new items in a chest somewhere in the game. I unziped and it's a TES file which gives me an error: Texture Load Error!: Textures\_land_default.tga and asks if i want to continue? How do you install mods?

press continue.
it could mean the owner forgot to add a certain file together inside the mod. to install a mod. just unzip it into your morrowind data file folder. say yes to everything. OR unzip it into your unzip folder then go to your unzip folder, enter the mod folder and copy everything except readme file. then go to your morrowind data file folder and click on paste. say yes to everything. |

if youre new...
try playing without mods for a bit anyway. get accustomed to the game before you try out mods, that way you get a feel for the real game first.
