House Strongholds

Hey, I`m going to build a Redorian stronghold and I want to know if you get any well supplied merchants along with it? I need someone to dump my loot on lol. I don`t like going to the creeper so much as I consider it kind of cheating.

Also - are there any rich merchants in Mournhold? I haven`t gotten around to exploring that city although I was teleported there once. [img]smile.gif[/img]

you'll be dissapointed with the redoran stronghold merchant. better stick to creeper.

there's a few merchant in mournhold, they are all in bazaar. good luck finding it. Mournhold is more annoying than Vivec city.

Humm.. maybe I should have kept that map? I threw it away when I found out Tribunal was just a new city and not a whole new area or something.

There are mods that add goodies to all three strongholds at morrowinfiles.com. I've tried two out of three of them, and they're cool. I think the devs underestimated our thirst for goodies when they designed the stronholds.

Some of the neat mods to add goodies to guild heads/strongholds:

Green Uvirith - adds to Telvanni Stronghold
Better Being Archmage - adds some nice quarters in the Vivec mages' guild
Centurions' Redoran Stronhold and Redoran Manor - I haven't tried these, but am going to try one in my newest game
The other one I saw is called Pax Hlaalu, I think

Amble through the Buildings section of morrowindfiles and you'll see a number of them.

There is a museum in Mournhold that will buy some expensive items from you. Also a number of new vendors and an armorer that will make armor for you.

Yeah I also know there is a mod to make the museum display items you sell them but I haven`t been able to download it for the morrowindfiles.com thing.

Bah. That Redorian stronghold sucks! I have a better place with my one room hut in Dagon Fel! Oh well.. maybe I`ll try out some of those mods.

I found a 'Redorian Upgrade' mod.. blah. It sucked. It mad my Nord so mad he stripped down to only the Wraithguard and Chrysamere and put on his ceremonial Redorian master's helm and massacred the whole 'manor'.. then massacred all of Maar Gan.. then massacred the enitre council 'under skar'.. and finally Ginda Ginsu for ripping me off. I was quite surpised as I only had to drink one healing potion (then I dropped them all to get less encumberance/higher speed). Don`t make guards like they used to! Hah!
