I'm level 2, and trying to start the Tribunal expansion. Apparently, after you've rested once, you're supposed to be attacked, then see a town guard. I've tried resting in a bed in town and just outside of town for at least 10+ hours. No attack!
Also, I'm having major problems with conversation menus, where I can't get the mouse to stay where I want it for reading conversation dialogue. This problem also occurs in the journal, when more than 2 pages (the two facing pages of an entry) are involved - I can't get the "3rd" or more pages to stay for more than a second! maybe patch is the prob? we nearly have the same specs. only mine is gforce 2. so i think its the software and not the hardware since you got the game working. or maybe conflict of mods.

I don't have any mods installed, other than the original game and Tribunal. I did, however, have the 1.20? patch installed on the original game.
Can anyone else help, or maybe tell me what I'm doing wrong? It is appreciated. Regards, Michael |

Or maybe it is your mouse wheel... try moving it in the opposite direction from where you are stuck: I mean, if you are stuck at the top of menus, move it a bit downwards, the problem should be solved
as to the dark brotherhood thugs, maybe ypur level is too low to get attacked: they are quite tough, you kow... they would chow you in a second at level 2 (or at level 20 for that matter...)
