How do I get to the top of Mt. Gigas?

I've made a allience with the Umpani and T'Rang got lev6 pass, gone to the flight deck but it doesn't open how do I get up their to kill the Savant Ship?

Late here, so I may be missing something, but you are looking for the area with the runway, control tower and a couple of missles.

Equip the T'rang tracking device on the control console for the missle nearer the entrance [other one is aimed at the trang ship.]

You get there via the door marked 'flight deck'. This is near the elevator that brought you up to the uppercaves, if memory serves, and you need the appropriate pass to get the door to open.

A level 6 pass isn't high enough. You need a higher level to open the flight deck doors - though I have no idea what level you need/which missions you must do for the Umpani to get it.

Been long enough since I was in this area that I don't remember what pass is needed, I think it may be called 'top level'.

What I've always done, in order, is:
>Present prisoners to Yamoto, listen to drivel, receive trang/umpani alliance offer
>Present offer to Zant, receive trang tracking device and alliance agreement
>present alliance agreement to Yamoto, receive top level security pass,
>Enter Gigas peak, equip tracking device, destroy dark ship
>return to Yamoto, have discussion re: was DS aboard, prisoners stay with yamoto.
