where is it? i have the keening and the sunder, but where is wraithsguard?

I think that item is given by Vivec. You must speak to him and accept the quest to kill Dagon Ur.

Thats not true u dont have to have it to win. My 29 woodelf did it without wraithsguard. U take a few swings at the heart and the drop the weapons the do it again. Just have restore health potions and watch your health

The original question was where to get it, not if you absolutely need to use it to win the game.

You need to arrange a visit with the Arch-cannon in vivec by talking to the lady at the top of the stairs in the temple canton. Then talk to the arch-cannon and he will tell you that Lord Vivec is waiting for you, he then gives you the key to vivec's temple. Talk to vivec and he gives you wraithguard.

No, it's not a MUST, you can win the game without wraithguard.

Vivec has Wraithguard and gives it to you. If you kill him, then Wraithguard is labeled as "Unique dwemer item" or sthg like that. To know how to work it properly, you must talk to the last Dwemer living, the one in the Corprosarium.
