I was hoping someone might be able to help me with this:
I'm trying to make an economy mod, to remake the Morrowind economy to be more realistic. To do this I need to be able to have NPCs interact with each other (or at least appear to interact with one another). Can anyone either point me to a faq, or explain to me, how to script an NPC to travel to a specific place on a regular schedule. Example, how I could have the smith in Caldera leave his shop, lock the door, walk to the caldera mining company office, hang arround for 10 minutes then walk back to his shop, unlock his door, and return to work every five days at noon? |

there's a FAQ in gamefaqs.com that teaches you that, check the " npc creation tutorial " .

Nice try but I don't think it is possible. The script function is not powerful enough to do it. (I think someone posted something quite similiar on the offical Morrowind forum)

hmm..you are right, to make the npc lock the door and hang around for ten minutes require a good programming skill.
