Hi all,

I have yet bought the game, just wondering if I could play the game in 3rd person perspective. In combat or just exploring.

Would there be any handicap or less enjoyment to the game?

Thanks in advance.

It's like playing Counterstrike with a chase view.. you have very little accuracy.. say you want to pick up that key on the table with telekinese, 10 feet away.. you'll spend hours in 3rd person, and 5 seconds in 1st person.. in combat... it's easier because the targets are bigger, and unlike CS, it doesn't matter where on the body you hit (I think)..

Hi and Welcome torque6

Ehm, press the TAB key for 3rd person view, and then read Angel's post

I've tried a few minutes in third person and believe me, first person is much easier. You can't seem to see what you're doing in third person.

thank you for all the contribution. Never knew that 3rd person is that bad. It would be better if they made it like dune emperor or dungeon siege with the swirling camera angel.

thanks again to all.

best rgds.

ahhhh, wimps!! LOL j/k

i use BOTH. after all, it's just a quick pinky flick to go from one to the other. i have no problems battling in 3rd person either, and i love watching my Nord thrash everything with her dual axe mod, or my assassin hiding in the shadows to avoid any kind of combat.

but when i interact with storekeeps or picking locks, picking stuff up, i switch to first person but go right back. i love watching my girlie all decked out (well, except for my nakey vampire) running around and interacting with townies and guards.

V***V

PS:

i have found SO MANY cool things using third person. by watching her, i see her react to everything around her. i see her crane her head around to look at something, so i look too. waddaya know? there's a hidden door over there that I didn't see, but she did.

heh. or when she's running, but looking straight up cuz of the stoopid Bull Netch that's flying over her head!!

Hmmm... Just in case some dint know. U could get really cool screenshots holding down the tab button white fighting or running or whatever =) it kinda makes it into a isometric viewcam of sorts.

Vesselle...where can I download that dual axe mod? I would want a dual sword mod. I'm assuming it doesn't matter what weapon you want to dual weild.? Anyways...any info on that would be appreciated.

~~heya wolverine~~

of course i can help you.

martin jordan is doing some very sweet plug-ins.

be sure to check out his "Pretty Faces Project", where he is remeshing the women in MW with some beautiful faces. his work is absolutely flawless. it takes him a while, and currently he only has 2 or 3 heads finished, but they are worth the wait.

he's responsible for the most popular "wizard cone hat" plug-in also.

I only use 3rd person to admire my characters armor, besides that 3rd person is a bit inconvenient in combat. But its good for peeking around corners though.
