Go to those two pages, and download the newest tweaks/cheats and mods. That should surely get your 'BG2ishness' back.

see ya!

Buy a new game? there are other ones you know. Planescape torment or something, but youve probably done that one too. Try a different genre and console yourself with Icewind dale 2 and Neverwinternights are not all that far off.

ahh bard schmard. They're one of the easiest classes to solo with!

If you're after a challenge, solo a beastmaster on Insane difficulty with all the improved bosses for ToB. It's possible I know cos I did it But if you're after an incredibly frustrating challenge, solo a shapeshifter druid with the above settings. Hats off to whoever manages this.

you would have trouble soloing a shapeshifter druid? I haven't done so on Insane, but it's not one of the hardest things in the world or anything...

And with the Shapeshifter Druid was the easiest I've ever played BGII with a party, by far, Greater Wearwolf tears everything apart

Go to TEAMBG.com and check out all the FREE add-ins, mods, new areas, quests, monsters, NPCs, romances, weapons... if you can imagine it ... it is probably there!
