Evil Game

Hi, I havent played for a couple of months, and thought id try my hand at a NE human necromancer for a change...

Does anyone know of any serious drawbacks to that?

you can't make a straight evil party as there are only 3 (4 with ToB) evil chars out there. there are some cool sidequests and evil choices you can only make if evil. sometimes (skinner) they're worth it sometimes (druids) they are pretty useless.
some items are restricted to good chars, but some nice items are evil only.
personally I don't like single-class mages, if you dual a fighter at lvl8 (right at the start) to mage you get a wizard with +++++ in Qstaff and lots of HP who can wear elven chain

The only real drawback is that if you stock your party with evil types, they'll get annoyed as your reputation rises. Getting the Slayer form will be a real boon to you. Be careful how low you let your rep get, however, or you'll find merchants won't talk to you, and guards will automatically attack you on sight.

If this is any help, my own Evil party is:
Me (NE Half-Elven Cleric/Mage)
Montaron (an exact copy of Montaron from BG1)
Viconia, of course
Korgan, of course
Edwin, I'd rather have Xzar but I guess Edwin's close enough
and an empty slot to pick up the Good & Neutral NPCs and torture them (and MAN, do I have some wicked things in store for them! Hee, hee hee!)

My party's low on Tanks, of course, but I rolled a REALLY good Evil Cleric/Mage and I'm keeping him. And I've no objection to letting someone like Keldorn stand in front and get Level Drained..... [img]smile.gif[/img]

You could try starting a multiplayer game off the internet with control of all players to yourself.

Therefore you can create extra evil characters to fill those holes in your party you would usualy fill with goodie people.

BTW:---Oh great Dragon I plege my allegiance to you for all eterity!!--But right now I'm with The Band most likely on the other side of um... the continent so uh... I... hm.

but take the neutrale alon

jahera is kinda good so she not real neutrale
