"Today is the first day of perhaps the weirdest career you shall ever have, forget what you think you know and what you think you have seen. Somethings were not meant for human knowledge and... err... ah bugger this, I'll save the theatrics for the show."

You are all huddled in a small office, the wallpaper is peeling and there is the smell of smoke and rubber from the factories nearby. Finding the office was not an easy job and when you finally meet your boss it hardly seems worth it, Jacob O'Reilly sits behind his desk looking strangely like Jabba the Hutt. He chews on a handful of peanuts as he looks each of you down, hesitating on Kentessa for a moment with a leer on his face.

"Well you dont look like much but I guess you will do, your job is quite simple; I will send you to various 'haunted' places, you will film some scary looking stuff, make up some sort of creepy-boo-ghost story crap and get back here so I can put it in the show. It's pretty simple and I expect it to get done

I have your first job ready, some supermarket down in Weyport reported a mass dissapearance to the police and it could be a good oppertunity for the show. Get down there are make it look good! Is there anything you bunch of clowns need? Equipment and the like, just remember we are a low budget production."

I could use a decent film or high quality digital camera so I can examine any runes and such. Is there any way we can get an infra-red lens?

"I'm not shelling out for a camera so you can take happy-snaps of you frollicking around in a supermarket, if you find anything weird you can get our cameraman here to get it on film... hmm, fine I guess I can get you a digital camera but it wont be anything fancy, and no infra-red lens. Perhaps if the show starts pulling in more profit and you prove your worth."

Kantessa

Standing towards the back of the group, She crosses her arms across her chest and leans against the dirty wall. As O'Reilly leers at her, she just stares at him with a no-nonsense look, and looks around at the others gathered as the pig speaks.

Thinking to herself, she wonders why in the world she even thought of working this job, but remembers what her grandfather had told her once, a long time ago in Norway on a dig... ~Even the worst-sounding jobs have their way of bringing up a surprise worth hunting for. You just have to be patient...~

She wonders just how far her patience will be pushed this time, though, and shrugs as she pushes off the wall at O'Reilly's statement of whether they need anything or not.

Reaching into one of her backpack's, she pulls out a mobile, and looks up the phone number of the Weyport police station, and stores it in her phone, to call as soon as they leave this despicable office where there is some fresh air.

She looks at the others, and waits till they are done and ready to go..

Corbin chewed on his knuckles and fidgeted around. He never could sit still when he got nervous. Finally, a cameraman for a big show! Well, okay, a low-budget program, but that was besides the point. He was finally getting to show of some of the filming skills he had. He'd brought his own camera, knowing that something that looked more home-made would probably add to the suspense, something like a Blair-Witch thing. He scratched his head through the stocking-cap he was wearing and pulled on his un-combed sideburns, trying to think of something to say.

"Um, well, I got my camera. I don't think I'll really need anything else. Uh, maybe a tape recorder and some batteries. See... I had this roomie who was a paranormal nerd, and he said once that ghosts and all those crazy things drained electronic power..."

He kind of shrugged and looked around at the group of people around him, feeling out of place.

"Easily done, tape recorder and battaries are yours. Figure someone would need it so I decided that instead of having you cluttering up my office while we waited for it to get here I would just have it ready for you."

All I need is my gun and ammo. Which i have. Anthony's short hair and large muscles made him look almost like an ogre. His bright green eyes and grim expression tells everyone he's killed more than one person.Wether or not thats good is still to be decided.

There was a silence in the room after the big grunt made his comment, but this was broken when the nazal voice of Poindexter began, "errmm....sir? Do you ahve any more background information in regards to this incident? Or should I begin searching myself? I don't mind, I always love a good excuse to go and hang out at the library!" He began chuckling to himself...

"I only just found about this, research is what I hire you for. Looking up journal articles or books on the local history of the area is always good background for the show."

After saying that he rushes you out of his office and towards the waiting bus.
It is a four hour trip to Weyport and you arrive in the afternoon, it is a small coastal town with a small pub, a library, police station, a supermarket and a few small tourist shops for when holiday's cause the rush to the beaches to escape the heat. The rest of town is residential area.
